Delicious Yulefest dinner at Jenolan CavesTo warm the chilliest Winter, every Friday and Saturday night in July, we will go all out to make our 30th season of Yulefest (Christmas in July) truly magical. Santa, yummy feasting, new evening underground experiences! Yule love it!

Book an evening of festive feasting, add an exclusive cave tour, and a relaxing overnight stay. Either way, our Yulefest offers all the following: If you book an overnight Yulefest package, you get all the above, plus a little treat hanging on your guestroom door, from Santa, and breakfast the next day.

Then, for an additional fee, why not add an exclusive cave tour - the NEW 'Subterranean Secrets'  or be the first to experience the long awaited return of favourite, 'Legends, Mysteries & Ghosts'. (Details below.)

NEW - Exclusive 'Subterranean Secrets' Cave Tour for Overnight Yulefest Guests

Many have asked when our night tours will make a come-back. Well, Yulefest will mark their long-awaited return. As a Yulefest overnight guest, for an extra fee, you can join an exclusive evening cave tour.

On FRIDAY evenings, if you love history (and a bit of mystery), experience our brand new 'Subterranean Secrets'. Don one of our helmets and, by torchlight, discover areas of our vast cave system that have been closed for years - unseen by our public tours - places that time has forgotten. Let us unravel the deep history of the caves for you. For grown-ups (and older kids) only.

After you book your overnight stay, we will contact you to see if you would also like to book this tour.

Shivers Up Your Spine? 'Legends, Mysteries & Ghosts' is Back - Exclusive to Yulefest Overnight Guests

After nearly 3 years, we are excited to announce the return of one of our most popular night tours 'Legends, Mysteries & Ghosts'. Exclusive for Yulefest overnight guests, we will run this tour every SATURDAY evening in July.

We don't have a 'ghost cave'. Instead, on the 'Legends, Mysteries & Ghosts' tour, in the darkness of the underworld, you will hear strange stories of the unexplained, sometimes from your tour guide's own personal experience. Strange occurrences have been reported from all our caves over the years. However, this tour is not just 'ghost stories'. It includes some of our history and mysteries. Be prepared to be unnerved! For grown-ups only!

When you book your overnight Yulefest stay, we will contact you to see if you would like to book this exclusive spine-tingling tour, for an extra fee.

School Holidays Coming Fast! Tickets Now Available!  Book Now for Family Fun & Adventure.

Be quick to book for the NSW Winter school holidays - Saturday July 2 to Sunday, July 17. Tickets will sell quickly.

You can choose from 5 spectacular family-friendly caves and the Plughole Adventure Caving Experience (min. age 10).

In addition, once again we will offer the 'Fossil Hunters tour', for primary-school-age kiddies. We launched the Fossil Hunters tour last school holidays and a wonderful time was had by all!

Little adventurers get kitted with caving helmets and real head lamps, before braving the underground reaches of the Bone Cave, in this interactive treasure-hunt experience. Once below ground, our friendly guides will have them learning about fossils, bones and all things caves, through hands-on experiments and treasure hunting, before leaving with a little something to take home! All guides hold a Working with Children Check, so Mum or Dad can either join in, or simply relax at the café, for some kid-free time, knowing their little ones will be in safe hands.

And NEW for these holidays - kids on all tours will have fun playing 'Cave Bingo'!

Upstairs in historic Caves House hotel, Chisolm's Restaurant will serve up leisurely lunch, dinner and kitchen-crafted high tea! And, of course, the Caves Cafe will be humming all day long!

Just remember that Friday and Saturday evenings will be dedicated to Yulefest (Christmas in July) - festive feasting and Santa!

Hooray!  We're Opening 4 Days a Week in June, and Even More in July.

For many months, we have been open on weekends only. But at last, we are happy to announce that for the rest of June we will open 4 days a week. Tours will start on Thursday afternoons and run until Sunday afternoons. Isn't that fantastic?

Then, we will open every day of the NSW school holidays.

And after the school holidays, for the remainder of July, we will open 5 days a week - from Thursday afternoons until Monday afternoons. We know that this extended trading will suit more visitors and will allow for nice long Winter mountain escapes!

She's Using Her Botanical Super Powers to Create a Colourful Spring!

It’s Winter, and we love it!

But while the rest of us are rugging up, our own horticultural expert, Laura King, is working up a sweat! She’s getting Jenolan’s gardens ready for Spring – planting 400 daffodils, 100 tulips and 75 hyacinths!

Several months ago, Laura came to us from the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens. We hope she stays with us forever, because using her botanical super powers, she plans to revive the century-old gardens that once surrounded Caves House!

Everyone adores daffodils! We want you to visit us right now, but if you want to plan ahead, to see our bright bulbs in bloom, mark it in your calendar to book a Jenolan visit in late winter/early spring.
