- If you are a candidate seeking our endorsement for the 2022 General Election, our priority deadline for screening questionnaires is a week away, on Friday, June 24. Download them from our PAC website.
- Help secure auction items for our next fundraiser, Pillars of Pride, on July 9 from 4-6 PM. There's a donation form here, and the event will be held at MATCH.
- Walk with Judge Lina Hidalgo at Pride by filling out this form.

Accepting Questionnaires for the 2022 General Election

The Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus is accepting questionnaires and screening candidates for the 2022 General Election.
The priority deadline is Friday, June 24. If you submit your questionnaire by the priority deadline date, you will be guaranteed a screening.
The final deadline for accepting questionnaires for a screening will be July 8. Our Primary Election Endorsement meeting will be held on August 13. If you have any questions about the screening/endorsement process, please contact screenings@thecaucus.org.
Please download and fill out the questionnaire that corresponds to the office that you are running for. You can download the questionnaire from our PAC website.
If you have questions as to which questionnaire is appropriate, please email screenings@thecaucus.org.

Auction Items Needed for Pillars of Pride

Help make Pillars of Pride a big success! We need you to solicit donations to the silent auction.
When you get your morning or afternoon coffee, ask for a donation. Having a meal at your favorite restaurant? Or a drink at your favorite bar? Getting your hair, nails, or other personal grooming done? Shopping in your favorite boutique? Ask for a donation!
The donation form is online here. With your help we can raise lots of funds for voter education and get more voters out to the polls.

Candidate Screener Training on June 29
|

If you would like to become a Candidate Screener for the Screening Committee for the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus, you must attend a Candidate Screener Training. After you have completed the training, you will be certified to participate in screenings for the next year.
Our next Candidate Screener Training will be Wednesday, June 29 at 6PM via Zoom.

Volunteer With Us at Pride!

The rumors are true...the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus will have a booth at Pride Houston 365's annual LGBT Pride Celebration!
The 44th Houston Pride LGBT+ Celebration ® will occur downtown at Houston City Hall, 901 Bagby St., on Saturday, June 25. The Caucus needs your help to make our booth a success!
We are looking for volunteers to assist with setup, tabling, and teardown for the festival. The Caucus tent will feature voter registration, voter pledge cards, and special guest appearances from candidates and elected officials. Sign up at this link!
