Colonel Richard Kemp has accused the UN Human Rights Council of accepting Hamas’s lies, saying that a latest report by the UN Commission of Inquiry is equivalent to “Putin’s propaganda machine” and that their disinformation “justifies Hamas’ illegal war on Israel.”
The Palestinian representative to the UN tried to shut down the former British commander mid-speech, but failed to silence the truth.

CUFI Prayer
For the gas deal with Israel
Praise the Lord for the historic deal signed between the EU, Israel and Egypt that will see Israeli gas sent to Europe. This is truly remarkable at a time when the West is seeking solutions to the gas crisis and less dependency on Russian supply. Give thanks that Israel has recently discovered huge gas reserves in the Mediterranean that has made this venture possible and that Israel has given permission for European companies to search for and produce natural gas in Israeli economic waters. Pray that this will trigger an abundant blessing upon Israel and that more nations will desire to trade with Israel.
Israel is truly a blessing to the world! And the BDS campaigners in Europe now have to choose between boycotting Israel and heating their homes!
We must also recognise the significance of Israel and Egyptian cooperation. We're truly living in Bible times.
Some have speculated whether the discovery of Israel's natural resources will be the hook that will one day draw Russia into conflict with Israel. As always, pray and remain watchful.
Nations humbled
One can imagine the humility required to turn to Israel for help - a country which has been marginalised and condemned by the EU on many occasions. Perhaps this is a foreshadow of the humility that will one day fall upon all the nations that turned against Israel. Pray that this will be an opportunity for the EU to give Israel the respect that it deserves. As we pray, remain mindful of the loathing by anti-Israel groups in response to this news. Pray that Israel will be shielded from this anti-Israel propaganda and that there will be those who change their opinions in favour of Israel.
Funding the PA
At the same time we are saddened that the EU plans to resume sending funds to the Palestinian Authority after freezing the funding two years ago because of political debates over the legality of funding a regime that pays terrorists and has incitement to violence against Jews in their school curriculum. Debate has continued and the Palestinian Authority has still not changed its position. Yet they will now continue to receive around 600 million euros from the EU per year. So on one hand the EU is seeking Israel for help in the gas crisis, and on the other hand it is sending funds to the Palestinians that will in turn be used in terror against Israel. Pray that this hypocrisy will stop!
The UK is presented with the same challenges. Pray that the EU's decision to release funding will not trigger the UK to do likewise.
Israelis in Turkey
Pray for Israelis in Turkey and other tourist hotspots, especially in light of the warning Israel issued to citizens in Turkey. Last week several Israelis visiting Istanbul were reportedly whisked out of the country by Israeli security officials, who were acting on intelligence showing that the visitors were at immediate risk from Iranian assassins.
One woman out visiting a market got a call from a senior Israeli official telling her to not return to her hotel because Iranian assassins were waiting there for her and her spouse.
Praise the Lord that Israeli security successfully intervened. Continue to pray for their missions, most of which we will never hear about. But we pray for the hand of the Lord to direct their paths and for plots of the enemy to be thwarted. Pray for Israelis in Turkey.
In light of this, pray for CUFI UK's campaign that will be launched next week, which calls upon the UK Home Secretary to ban Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It is important that Britain demonstrates to Iran that their threat towards Israel and the West will not be tolerated. There is sufficient evidence showing that the IRGC is not only destabilising the Middle East, but is also involved in malicious activity here in the UK. Pray that the campaign will be successful in its aims.
"Then they shall know that I am the Lord"
We end our prayer points today with a reminder of the prophesy in Ezekiel 38 that concludes victoriously for Israel after the attack by Gog and allies. Speaking of Gog coming against the land of Israel, it states:
"And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
"Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”' Ezekiel 38:22-23
AMEN!
Thank you for joining with us in prayer for Israel today.
