Inter House Sports Event On Wednesday, Upper Primary pupils took part in their Summer Inter House Sports Event. This took place at the Europa Sports Complex indoor hall where pupils had the opportunity to showcase some of the skills they have been learning throughout the course of the academic year. There was netball shooting, an agility course, sprinting, a penalty shootout and many other activities. It was an event enjoyed by all, especially the parents watching from the gallery! We look forward to next year's sporting events with many more games and activities planned.
A Swiss Story Emelie, our Swiss pupil in Year 4 treated her class to a fantastic presentation about her country. She taught us about their traditional foods, the city she comes from, the topography of Switzerland and we even learned a little Swiss German! Her peers were then given a taste of Swiss chocolate which they all absolutely loved! Thank you Emelie for the lovely presentation! 4P thoroughly enjoyed learning about Switzerland. Ganz verreckt!

Faith Diary This week marks the great Eucharistic Feast of Corpus Christi, in which we commemorate Christ’s giving of His own body and blood to us at the Last Supper - which was also the first Eucharist. Jesus intended his last supper to be a beginning rather than an end and ever since that meal, the church has gathered in His name for the celebration of the Eucharist during every Mass, to do and say what He did and said at that last supper. Celebrating the Eucharist should not be something we do lightly. Our familiarity with the Mass and the frequency with which we celebrate it can dull our senses to the full significance and transcendent mystery of what we are participating in. Every time we gather for the Eucharist, we are sacramentally transported to that Upper Room and we are with the disciples at the Last Supper. At the same time, we are at the foot of the Cross, witnessing to and sharing in Jesus’ death and his life-giving gift of Himself to us all. We are participating not in the end of His mission, but in its beginning, and sharing in the new and eternal life in Christ that is freely offered to each one of us at every Eucharist.
