Help us count bats TONIGHT!!!

We need sharp-eyed people to count bats tonight!

This first official count of the year is crucial to establish a population baseline and determine general health of our attic maternity colony.

Meet at 8:30 PM outside of the Historic Peachland School, 5684 Beach Ave, across from Swim Bay.

Bring a chair, and download a counting or tally app for your phone.  Heavy or steady rain will postpone the event, as there are few insects out and about for the bats to feed on, during rainy weather.

RSVP

First, they swoop down from the roost and then zoom across the road to the lake for a quick drink.

They flit and flutter almost faster than we can see, so sharp eyes are needed to track and count them!  Listen for their calls!
