CancerChoices.org is more than a website—it's a healing space for people with cancer

We invite you to visit CancerChoices, the transformation of our predecessor website, Beyond Conventional Cancer Therapies.

CancerChoices is dedicated to reducing suffering and supporting healing and resilience among people with cancer. We believe that all people should have access to high quality integrative cancer care, combining the best of conventional cancer care, self care (or lifestyle practices), and complementary care. We are here for you and those who care for you to help you make the best choices in your cancer care.

We'd love to know if we accomplished our goals and built a resource—an experience—that helps you find and understand the full range of cancer-care options available to you. That connects you to others who can hear you, share with you, and hold your hand. And that supports you every step along the way.

What's new

We built CancerChoices with several goals, foremost to create a healing space for people to come together to explore hope, community, healing, and new priorities in life within the context of cancer.

Our content is significantly expanded, with an emphasis on what is practical and useful to you, your loved ones, and health professionals. We'll lead you through different sections of the new site in our upcoming news updates.

We have made research easier for you to interpret while also being more rigorous in our approach to research. We developed a solid approach to finding, summarizing, and evaluating research on self-care practices and complementary therapies. We interpret each collection of research for you, and we developed a simple rating system so that you can see at a glance how a therapy measures on each of seven attributes.
