Some housekeeping BEFORE our dinner in the vineyards next week

I just want to say thank you again for supporting our foodie community. We are excited that the organizers and chefs met through the Foodies in Switzerland Facebook group, and somehow, some magic happened that brought us all together for this fun foodie event.

I have a few housekeeping things to mention before next week. Please bear with me.

E-tickets

I just wanted to make sure you have all received your e-tickets. You could have received them from edibleswitzerland@gmail.com or jen@edibleswitzerland.com. I had to change systems in the middle of everything and sometimes, things went awry.

Please just reply to this email if you HAVE NOT received your e-tickets. I’ll try to regenerate them. But, no worries… I have a master list and we can just rely on plain old pen and paper instead of this fancy-schmancy technology.

#cookforukraine auction fundraiser and more for you (participants at the dinner)

If you aren't aware, we have a sideline #cookforUkraine fundraiser where we have three incredible foodie prizes to auction off (and more door prizes just for the participants of the dinner). All that info is here. But, important to note, the auction will go to 30 June.

Also to note on that blog post, is that there are a few donations from our community of foodiepreneurs. These donations will be won by participants who give a donation at the event. You can decide on the size of your donation. We are raising money here. But if you give, you are eligible to receive. I just wanted to start putting it out there.

Sharing is caring

Could I ask you to share the auction fundraiser with your networks? The auction part at least? Surely, you might know somebody who has been drooling over OFYR outdoor grills? Or has wanted a coffee maker, but always thought it was too expensive? What about that romantic night for two in Jongny? Surely you know a couple who deserves that? I firmly believe we can raise some serious funds if we tell the people we know who might care about such amazing prizes (not to mention, all proceeds will go to charity).

And finally, just a quick mention that our ticket sales are only open until Monday 20 June 2022. I would love if you could share our event in your networks and maybe help us get to 100 (we are so close!) That would be a nice round number and quite a success for our first event (of this size).

Next week, closer to 25 June…probably Thursday

I'll send a final detailed email next week to all the participants. What to expect. What to wear. What to bring. etc. We’re just waiting as close as we can to understand what the weather might be like and can make certain other decisions.

Thank you again for your support! This has been quite a journey making it happen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it happen.
