Heading to Oshkosh? Come to the 16th Annual EAS!

The 16th annual Electric Aircraft Symposium returns to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on Saturday and Sunday, July 23-24, the weekend before EAA's AirVenture. Join some of the world’s leading innovators and early adopters at the world’s longest running electric aircraft conference at the air-conditioned Univ. Wisconsin-Oshkosh Conference Center for an in-person and virtual event covering eVTOL, eSTOL and eCTOL aircraft and battery-electric, hybrid-electric and H2 energy sources.

Lilium is the primary sponsor, and there are more sponsorship opportunities still available.

Plan to arrive in Oshkosh early to attend this exclusive industry event, or attend virtually from anywhere in the world. Confirmed speakers from AFWERX, Beta, Elroy, Eve, Hydroplane, Joby, Lilium, MightyFly, NAA, Vertical, Volocopter and more!

The virtual events in 2020 and 2021 featured a record number of speakers and attendees and we expect strong participation at this year’s hybrid event! Check out the EAS webpage to learn more.

AAM Supply Chain Working Group

NASA is collaborating with Agility Prime on an important initiative to promote the development of a strong and resilient Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) supply chain that can scale as the market matures, and has published a fact sheet on Building Resilient Aerospace Supply Chain.

The Working Group recently held a meeting on June 9. To view the video recordings of past meetings or to learn about future plans, go to nari.arc.nasa.gov/aamsupplychain

VFS Annual Forum a Success!

The Vertical Flight Society's 78th Annual Forum & Technology Display was a great success! More than 1,250 people experienced the "Future of Vertical Flight" at Forum 78, held May 10-12, 2022, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Some 220 technical papers were presented, plus more than 50 invited presentations and panel discussions by experts and decision makers in industry, academia, government agencies and research institutions.

Event attendees can access the technical papers by logging on to www.vtol.org/my-VFS or by visiting the Forum 78 proceedings page. Non-attendees can purchase the proceedings or individual papers. You can also check out more than 400 photos from the event — videos coming soon!

Upcoming NASA RVLT Project Workshop in August

The NASA Revolutionary Vertical Lift Technology (RVLT) Project has supported the development of a documented set of conceptual design tools to accurately evaluate the noise and performance of a broad range of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) vehicles. This development effort is led by RVLT’s Conceptual Design team.

The Conceptual Design team will host a one-week, hybrid-format workshop August 22-26, 2022 at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA. The no-cost workshop is aimed at vehicle designers and researchers in the UAM community. Workshop attendance is limited to U.S. citizens (or Permanent Residents) representing U.S. organizations.

If you are interested in attending the workshop, please register using the link below:
