Rham's Captain's Log
We'll start a little different this week...mix things up a bit. My name is Rham Cunningham and I am NOT a motivational speaker despite the fact that sometimes my words do leak out to places that perhaps needed a leak, needed a drippy faucet of energy, excitement; a crack in the line with a little mojo - go- juice flowin' through it maybe gettin' some on ya, and maybe sometimes those words come from me, and TO YOU they seem motivational therefore you categorize me as a motivational speaker. I appreciate that, but understand that with great words come great responsibility, and one must then ACT upon those words or run the risk of just being considered a run of the mill mouthy mouthpiece. Who wants that? So, practicing what I preach, preaching what I practice....that's all it is, ya know... practice. Try fail. Try fail. Try succeed ish. Succeed ish. Fail again. Then....well ya see, it's just a big ole circle. Infinite? Perhaps. Unless you realize just what a spec we are in the grand scheme of things and how little time we have on this planet to get done what needs to be done. Instead we're distracted with convoluted hub-bub, dramatic twists and turns, and then finish off with a heaping scoop negativity and nonsense.
Whew. That's quite a mouthful. How about spit it out. Just this once. Rinse out your mouth and start over. There's all sorts of things out there that tastes far better than what I described earlier and despite some things being bittersweet, it's the sweet part that makes the bitter bearable. The moral of this week's Captain's Log is simple. Remain positive in the fields of no; stay calm in the sea of chaos; bring light to the valleys of darkness. Okay. Not simple.
