The “Better Together” Mural Project is complete!

In June, ten Garfield County artists were selected to paint mini murals on the exterior walls of the Topek structures located in Glenwood Spring’s downtown core. “These mural designs are vibrant, represent the natural environment, and human connection. Art is an important component of placemaking and economic development. We are excited to have these beautiful murals enliven our downtown seating and celebrate our community’s creativity.”  —Shelley Kaup, Councilor.

Take a stroll between 6th and 7th Street to experience for yourselves how these murals have added to the vibrancy of this incredible place we call home.

Special thanks to the following muralists: Brooke Bartlett (Carbondale), Litah Campbell (Parachute), Christie Interlante (Carbondale), Wewer Keohane (Carbondale), Mary Noone (Glenwood Springs), Natalie Squillante (New Castle), Hannah Stoll (Carbondale), Briana Sanchez (New Castle), Nicholas Ward (Glenwood Springs) and Traci Wilson (Glenwood Springs).
