As-Salamu Alaykum Brothers and Sisters,
For 2022/1443 the SMA has made arrangements for Udhiyah/Qurbani with Parkhill Meats (www.parkhillmeats.ca). For those interested, the details are as follows:
- Lamb - $425
- Goat – $525
- Beef (Cow) 1 portion - $500 - $550 depending on total weight of the cow.
- Slaughtering will occur the day after Eid ul Adha. Cutting of the meat will take place the following day. Delivery will be made by Parkhill Meats to the Mosque parking lot for your pickup. We will confirm the delivery date when we get closer to the date
- Orders must be received by June 24th Friday at the latest.
- Parkhill Meats will donate $10 for every qurbani lamb or goat referred by Sarnia Muslim Association. And $70 for qurbani beef.
The SMA will coordinate orders received by July 24th between the community and Parkhill Meats. We require the following information to process the orders: Your full name and contact details, animal type, number of qurbani.
Payment can be made to the SMA by cheque or by Interac e-transfer to sarnia.muslim.association@gmail.com.
