Town Centre Promotional Video

Goes live across social media 1 July

This promotional video highlights a number of town centre businesses in a combined effort to encourage a Rediscovery of Peterhead.
We could only feature each of the businesses within the promotional video for a few seconds, in order to keep it short and engaging.

So we have created for each of the 13 businesses involved, an individual video which utilises video content captured beyond what we could feature in the combined video. The videos will be used by the businesses for their own business promotion. These videos will be circulated across social media throughout July after the launch of the combined town centre promotional video, so keep an eye out for those also!

Campaign: 30 days of Business

hAim:
Raise awareness of individual town centre businesses, through individual showcases.  Whilst promoting the wider business offering through encouraging users to download the dscvr Peterhead app and view the web based business directory

Outcome:
As the campaign draws to a close, with the 30th businesses going out on the 30th June, we have seen online engagement in excess of 30,000, an increase in downloads of the app, and increased web traffic to the directory. We hope this raised awareness drives footfall and converts to sales.

Our Mini Series – Business Stories

Throughout July we will also be sharing a series of new short videos from a number of independent town centre business owners which builds upon the series we shared in 2021.

In an interview style format, the business owners share their own business stories. Detailing why they started their own business, and potential next steps. With a second short video focused on encouraging future start-ups and expanding businesses to consider Peterhead as a place to invest. To do this each business shares their perspective on what it is like running a business in Peterhead, why they chose Peterhead, and what advice they would give to someone wanting to start a business in Peterhead.

These videos will sit on the Invest in Peterhead and Rediscover Peterhead YouTube channels and websites, and will be posted on the associated social media channels.

Reminder of July Events

A reminder that we have two events taking place in July.
Both events will run from 10am-3pm.
