Welcome Summer

I hope this finds you in health and freedom. This is me, standup paddleboarding this spring in McCall, Idaho. It was still too cold to get wet. Soon, I hope to be in the water instead of just on it.

A quick newsletter update from me: Since my last newsletter, I’ve been blogging weekly. Recently I traveled with my husband for a work event and someone asked what kinds of things I wrote. I’m still ghostwriting—but when I pictured my blog, I searched for words like I spoke another language. I decided “all the things swimming in my head” wasn’t very compelling.

So, I’ve narrowed it down. If you haven’t visited lately, I hope you’ll join me for weekly posts about “Intimacy with God for the over-churched.”

Another project I’ve started is the audio narration of my second novel, Heart of Petra. Having already recorded one audio book, I feel a freer this time. We’ll see what that entails. My goal is to finish it by the end of the year. I would love your prayers for that.

Lastly, I’m involved in re-launching a local writer’s group, post-pandemic-shutdown. So If you’re a writer in the Treasure Valley (or all of Idaho) you can reach out to me for more information. Even if you aren’t—I’d love to hear from you.
