Our first team of 2022
Twin Oaks PC came to serve at Casa de Paz community center in the city of Reynosa. They spent their mornings improving the appearance of the facilities with fresh coats of vibrant colored paints. In the evenings through the activities of a VBS they shared the gospel with kids of the community while Pastor Juan Ramon was able to meet with some of the parents!

Our second team from Christ the King Houston came with a slightly different objective as they came to see and to serve.

Seeing
They toured the Isaiah 55 school for the deaf and visited the main facility.
|
|
Serving
They helped improve a local park near the Isaiah 55 ministry center and participated in their kids outreach.
|
|
|
They also had opportunities to serve at Casa de Paz, Valle del Rey, and with our newest church plant The Crossing. They also served by painting and helping with The Crossing's first official VBS!

With only one team in 2021 it appears as though things are beginning to return to normal. We have reached our half way point, 4 teams for 2022, we will be heading to Monterrey (3 hours south) and Ciudad Juarez (13 hours west) to round out our slate of summer teams. Thank you for your continued prayers for us and Genesis as we serve this summer. Not many people realize how big Texas is as we are now on the Eastern side of the Tex/Mex border. Oh I almost forgot Lord willing we will hosting a medical team in November back in Ciudad Juarez!
