Check out what's happening;
Clubs Fest is the perfect opportunity for UniSA students to explore, connect and join clubs to make friends, stay active, gain experience & have an awesome time at uni!

Meet student club members from a variety of clubs including UniSA Sport, Special Interest Clubs, Cultural Clubs, Social Justice Clubs and Academic Clubs.

  • Magill - Tuesday 19th July - 11 am - 2 pm
  • City West – Tuesday 2 August - 12 pm -3 pm
  • Mawson Lakes - Thursday 4 August - 10 am - 1 pm
  • City East - Tuesday 9 August - 10 am - 1 pm

Whatever you're a fan of, with tons of clubs attending each campus, there's bound to be something for you. Joining a club is not only a chance to spend time with friends doing what you love but also looks great on a resume. Find out more here

See your Art on Campus

Art on Campus is the perfect opportunity for UniSA students to express their creativity and be showcased on campus. The project unites aspiring artists, designers, and creatives from all disciplines across the university. You do not need to be enrolled in a creative program to enter Art on Campus. 

In 2022, the submitted entrant's artwork will be exhibited as a year-long outdoor mural on City West Campus, with the top two voted entrants taking home individual prize packs.
  • Submissions must be submitted digitally as a 50cm x 50cm pdf file - view template
  • All accepted submissions will be printed on 50cm x 50cm square decals and displayed together to make a mural on City West Campus
  • The two top-voted submissions will win a $500 voucher
  • Submissions must be received by 9 am Monday 1 August 2022

Your USASA Student Board Reps have been busy over the last couple of weeks. What’s been happening:
 
Ashleigh has commenced her term as the Whyalla Representative and is collaborating with her peers to host an on-campus event in Study Period 5.
 
Amy met with the USASA Digital Events and Engagement Officer to discuss strategies for reaching out to online students.
 
Rhys has been involved with the USASA Reconciliation Committee to begin drafting a reconciliation plan for USASA.
 
Isaac followed up with his counterparts at Adelaide University to discuss a cross-institutional approach to tackling wage theft.
 
Trisha has been liaising with the USASA Postgraduate Representative on initiatives to support students who have unstable access to affordable healthy food.

Not too late to register for the Online Pride Party

Focusing on education, culture and entertainment - this online Pride Party will give you the chance to compete in teams at Queer Trivia, gain insight into Pride and learn all about the movement’s most important landmarks! Plus enjoy two live drag performances, meet fellow students and get involved in a Q&A!

  • Tuesday 28 June, 1:30 – 2:45 pm (ACST)
  • Zoom (hosted by Kabloom)
  • FREE - This event is funded by USASA with 10% of the costs being donated to Black LGBT non-profits

USASA and UniSA Rainbow Club have come together to bring you an inclusive in-person, free event celebrating our Rainbow Community at UniSA! 

Hosted by UniSA Staff Drag Queen + King, Miss Inga Coq and Ollie Ringwald on Thursday 30 June, 4 pm – 7 pm at City West Campus, Student Lounge (accessible venue), come along to get involved in these fun and inclusive activities;

  • Craft Corner: BFF Bracelet Making, Plaster Funhouse Painting, Decorate a biscuit & USASA Pride Pledge
  • Drag Quiz and performances (including a dress-up in drag station thanks to Save the Children)
  • Smoothie Bike and Gourmet Toasties 
  • Speed Friending and Communal Canvas by batyr
  • Guest Speakers - from Shine SA, SA Mesh and Drop in Care Space
    + so much more! 

All donations on the night will be donated to Drop in Care Space (coin bucket and debit card options available)
