Course Update
A little rain over the last few days but the course is still holding strong.
The greens look amazing but I am told that it still does not make getting that little ball into the hole any easier!
This reminds me of a joke I once heard;
A guy on vacation finishes his round and goes into the clubhouse. The head pro says, “did you have a good time out there?” The man replied “fabulous, thank you.” “You’re welcome,” said the pro. “How did you find the greens?” Said the man: “Easy. I just walked to the end of the fairways and there they were".....

This special event with the legendry Billy Burton Band is to highlight the possible loss of the Lane Cove Golf Clubhouse’s large, community social function and performance area if developed into indoor courts (Sport & Recreation precinct) which could come to Council in August. Many in the community seem unaware, and to help our precious koalas!
Jeff Angel of the Total Environment Centre will be guest speaker on the loss of koalas in western Sydney due to development. A Little Buenos Aires Tango dancers will perform in the break! TEC will receive profits from the night and donations.
