Finally, after two-year break, the famous Colours of Ostrava will happen this year! Come on 13. - 16. July to Dolní Vítkovice. Enjoy the atmosphere of the biggest music festival in the Czech Republic! OEC will be there too - in Ostrava City stand. Come to say hello and have fun with us!

BEATS FOR LOVE

Are you rather a fan of electronic music? Ostrava can offer also the largest electronic dance festival in the heart of Europe and in Industrial National Monument Lower Vítkovice again. Beats for Love festival takes place 1 - 4 July.

HIKING TRIP VOL. 6

We enjoyed another great Saturday!! Thanks everyone for coming! The hike was more difficult and the weather was really hot. As a reward we enjoyed long walk with the lunch at the last peak. And also we managed a little run for the train after 20 K. You can expect something more easy next time.

The annual match of Baník

The annual Baník match, the main peak of the club's centenary celebrations, will be played on July 13 at 6:00 pm at the Ostrava Municipal Stadium! Who will be the Silesian opponent? Yes, the famous Celtic FC!

Shakespeare Summer Festival

The 15th year of the festival will be the largest in history in Ostrava. This year, the festivities will begin with the Ostrava comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Adéla Laštovková Stodolová. A new production of one of Shakespeare's most famous plays, Macbeth, is also waiting for you here.

Reminder for UK citizens: Exchange your temporary/permanent residence card untill the end of August 2022

Citizens of the United Kingdom who have in the past been issued a certificate of temporary residence or permanent residence permit also need to exchange their documents for the new biometric documents by 31 August 2022. Their family members who hold temporary or permanent residence permits in Czechia in the past have to do the same...read more at our older blog post.
