Biofilm management and Debrisoft Training

Remote Consultation Training



FREE


Access free Remote Consultation eLearning course has been developed for health & social care practitioners in settings where telephone and video consultations occur.

During this new module, which can be completed in 30 minutes, you will learn how to better utilise existing consultation skills to compensate for the differences between remote and face-to-face consultations, increasing effectiveness and reducing time wasted.

Telephone and video consultations will deliver safe, personalised care and achieve excellent outcomes, when practitioner and patient collaborate to create effective, individualised care plans.

The Personalised Care agenda is the foundation of the Network Contract Des 22/23. It represents a major practical change to the NHS and is a key component of the NHS Long Term Plan.  Understanding the framework is key for successful implementation.

Our Core Skills eLearning Module is perfect for all health and care professionals, no matter discipline or career stage. The Core Skills eLearning will provide range of personalised care tools and frameworks, will teach you how to overcome challenges and how to implement this practice into your work.  

There is a range of learning that social prescribing link workers, health and wellbeing coaches and care co-ordinators can access through the Personalised Care Institute.  This includes online and offline training, some of which is free of charge. Evidence-based personalised care training ensures that the quality of service is consistent and that people in these roles are supported with their ongoing professional development.

and County Council Staff



Do you want to feel better in yourself, but could use a little help in leading a happier and healthier life?   The website – My Health My Way – has a variety of features to help you keep track of and improve your health and wellbeing.  

My Health My Way contains a variety of features to help staff to self-manage their health and wellbeing, including a log to track behaviours relevant to their health and wellbeing over time, a library of over 450 resources, and a step-by-step guided action plan tool containing techniques to create and sustain behaviour change. Staff can also request one-to-one support from a behavioural coach, which entitles them to 4 free virtual sessions with a qualified coach, who can help them to create an effective plan for change, as well as see it through. Coaches can help staff to change a variety of lifestyle behaviours, including (but not limited to) better stress management, dietary choices, and physical activity.

Independent Prescribing for Pharmacists

The focus of this webinar will be an update on the Independent Prescribing (IP) for Pharmacists training offer currently being developed by HEE for Autumn 2022.
 
This session is aimed at colleagues from the Regional NHS Managed sector (e.g., acute and mental health trusts), community pharmacy, general practice (including those not in ARRS roles) and Health and Justice.
 
This session aims to inform, inspire and engage pharmacy colleagues who are interested in this training offer. The session will cover:
 
  • How to access HEE funded IP training across all regions in England
  • Designated medical practitioner (DMP) and designated prescribing practitioner (DPP) information and guidance
  • Progress and next steps for the Initial Education and Training Standards of Pharmacists reform (IETP) and MPharm curriculum, which will enable pharmacists to be independent prescribers at the point of registration by 2026 
  • Support available from HEE regional and national teams.
