A lot of new things happening in the "studio", workshop, and now airport!

This Week's Progress:

The Cessna 172 project has grown quite a bit over the past few years. It went from some particleboard covered in duct tape to precision-milled CNC parts. 

I’m excited to share with you what I’ve been working on.

Throttle: 

I’ve been working behind the scenes to create a throttle quadrant that looks, feels and tastes like the real deal (taste testing is not recommended). 

My first throttle design a few years ago left some things to be desired, so this throttle is quite awesome for me to finally design and produce!

I had the opportunity to use real aircraft part dimensions so the throttle is extremely close in appearance to the actual model. 

This is one of the very few scratch-built friction lock throttles I’ve seen and I am excited to share the plans!

Airspeed Indicator:

I finally launched the Airspeed Indicator, making the first-ever C172 V3 instrument. Its dimensions line up very well with real life.

Pedestal:

The pedestal has just been cut and is ready for assembly!
