Colonial Canopy Trees

Due to impending storms, tomorrow's event at 
Fort Washington State Park has been rescheduled for next Saturday, June 18th.

Last summer, a devastating tornado ripped through parts of Fort Washington State Park and destroyed lots of mature trees. Many of the remaining trees in this area are tangled up in invasive vines like Oriental Bittersweet and Japanese Honeysuckle.

To help restore parts of this forest, Colonial Canopy Trees is teaming up the Friends of Fort Washington State Park to remove invasive vines and to protect existing trees from deer damage by adding fencing.
