Ahhhh, Fresh Air, Sun and Strawberries

It's June and we love this time of year because it means we can finally get outside and enjoy the sun and fresh air. But before you head out into the fresh air, we've got a few tips for how to make sure your outdoor adventure is as safe as possible. Here are our top tips for staying cool this spring: 1) Drink plenty of water; 2) Do not forget your sunscreen; 3) Do not forget the bug spray!

Also, it is strawberry season, so there is yumminess all around.

Remember, we are here if you need a respite from all that fun in the sun 😊 ☀️

Yes! More New Offerings

Yep, we did it again! More new offerings for you!

This month Craig Cormack has joined our team. He is well versed in massage therapy and Tai Chi and has been practicing for over 30 years, so a rare find. With Craig joining our team, we now have regular offerings for Chair Massage, Acupressure Massage and Chi Kung (Qi Gong). The latter is related to Tai Chi but is a series of exercises focused on breathing and posture.

Chi Kung, through a series of movements and breathing exercises, promotes relaxation, optimizes energy and brings the body into balance. Like reiki, it is offered as a service is many renowned hospitals and cancer centers including the Mayo Clinic, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Relationships are important to us as they are foundational to the work that we do. So, we wanted to take time in the next newsletters to introduce ourselves.

We all have different backgrounds, training and interests. It is in these differences that we come together because we complement one another which allows us to offer the best services possible for you.

Tresa Marie Staeven

In 2018, she enrolled in an aromatherapy program to simply learn more and know best practices. As she continued in the program, the more enthralled she became with what aromatherapy can offer and she started to dream.

In 2019, Tresa Marie was diagnosed with PTSD. Through that experience, while Tresa Marie has recovered, she recognizes that it took a community to help her in her recovery.

It was in this experience and then compounded by COVID-19, that Tresa Marie decided to open Scented Path. She is passionate in helping others. Her approach is focused on the individual, where they are today, what their goals are and to support them in meeting their goals.

Thank you for supporting our small business.
