When it is hot out, I don't tend to quilt as much and instead I spend more time designing and writing patterns. Right now I'm working on the pattern for my next quilt along and thinking about creating designs to enter one or two of the QuiltCon 2023 challenges.

Meringue (& Garden Peony) Pattern Release

I have been having so much fun over the past two months making Meringue and Garden Peony, and today the Meringue pattern is now available for you to make your own versions of these quilts! The pattern offers three sizes (baby, lap or queen) AND the pattern includes instructions for Garden Peony, a bonus quilt option in three sizes for the large scraps created in piecing.

2022 Mid Year Check In

As crazy as it may seem, 2022 is almost halfway over. On July 1st, I'll open the #2022MidYearCheckIn link up party that will run the month of July. I welcome you to take this opportunity to look back and reflect on your year as well, even if you did not join the original link up.

Kristyn @kayhey13 pieced this stunning Sunburst quilt top while she was at her guild retreat. Once this is quilted, it will be donated as part of the year long Women’s Resource Center project for their emergency shelter. 💙 Kristyn says she's already thinking about making it in a second colorway (in teals), and I can't wait to see that one come together, too!

Judy @wanda.sue48 just finished quilting and binding her Planview quilt that she pieced during the quilt along. I really love the way she added in pops of color to the binding of her quilt! 😍

I have a lot going on in my personal life right now that is keeping me very busy. I look forward to being able to share more information with you about that in the next month or two.
