Calling all high school graduates of Dakshini Community - Class of 2022!
The heartbreak and unprecedented experience of spending more than half of your high school time under the cloud of COVID-19, dealing with Zoom school, isolation, mask rules, distancing – you survived them all. High school taught you tolerance, patience, adaptability and gratification. Start where you are, use what you have and do what you can and never let anyone tell you – it is not possible!
Dakshini would like to celebrate your success this upcoming Picnic on July 30, 2022.

AACE 2022
This year Dakshini will organize the kids' AACE drama based on everyone's all-time-favorite movie series "Star Wars" (the original trilogy - Episodes 4,5,6), directed by Pami Mukherjee. We plan to stage it at Dakshini Lakshmi Puja on Oct 15, 2022.
This year is unique since we are finally emerging from Covid and many of us are traveling over the summer. Therefore, it might be challenging to find enough kids available to stage a large production like "Star Wars". Every good production requires a minimum number of participants, and some form of time commitment from them.
Therefore, we are requesting you to fill out the Sign-up sheet by July 4th 2022.
1. We will have a total of 11 rehearsals in the weekend afternoons; we will have 4 group-wise rehearsals in Aug, 5 full rehearsals in Sep, and 2 full rehearsals in Oct. 2. Individual rehearsal dates are indicated in the Sign-up sheet. Please indicate your availability. 3. Attendance is mandatory for those rehearsals. At most two absences may be allowed with prior notification under exceptional circumstances.
Based on the responses and the availability of the participants, we will decide if the "Star Wars" production can be done this year. We will let you know by mid of July.
