Kia ora!

You are invited to be part of a fun dumpling-making (and eating) workshop hosted by Kathy Voyles and the Kai Conscious team, alongside the Prime Minister's Office Chief Science Advisor.

10.30am - 12.30pm Friday 17 June at the Waiheke Sustainability Centre

What does food rescue mean to you? We'd love to know, even if it's just enjoying fulfilling kai that would otherwise be needlessly sent to landfill. Your views and dumpling-assembly skills are what's needed to support the Prime Minister's Office's research on food rescue.

There are 25 places available, so please
RSVP by
emailing us  or call 09 3722915.

Why us?
We're a member of Aotearoa Food Rescue Alliance, which is working to support the Prime Minister's Office on this big piece of scientific research to combat food waste. We have been selected as a food rescue case study.

Why you?
We're lucky to have a supportive group of business customers who donate food; caring partners who make sure that food gets to those who need it; bright minds that dedicate themselves to zero waste and food resilience; and an awesome community of eaters that make sure food doesn't go to landfill. You are (at least) one these food heroes.

We hope you can make it, so please RSVP as soon as you can.

* Why dumplings? Well, they're a great way of using rescued veggies and leftovers. Making them is traditionally quite social, and who doesn't like dumplings?

**Please note that due to the continued presence of Covid-19 in the community, you will need to wear your mask until we are seated to enjoy the kai.
