Reaching out to update you on the efforts to get answers around the outdoor pool.

To start off, it’s not been easy.  The ‘Cuda Board, Head Coach and I are trying everything possible to get answers and timelines regarding the outdoor pool in addition to solutions for upcoming home meets (if the pool temps don’t improve).
 
It’s really comes down to a strategy of hope for when the pool heater will be repaired and/or the pool water will reach a reasonable temperature for outdoor practice and the coming home meets.
 
On Friday I emailed both the Director of Facilities, Kate Mix, and the Executive Director, Rita Fletcher with the concerns and proactive solutions for both the practices and upcoming meets if the outdoor pool is not at a reasonable temperature.  Additional reach outs took place to each of the seven board members of the park district.  The responses so far have not provided any answers.
 
I know this is not the ideal start to the season and we are doing everything we can to get answers from leadership at the park district. Please be patience with us as we continue to try to get answers.

The next Bartlett Park District Board of Commissioners meeting is this Tuesday, details below.

The Park Board for the Bartlett Park District holds its regular meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm at the Thomas C. White Administration Building, 696 W. Stearns Road, Bartlett. If you have suggestions or if you would like to observe how the Park District operates, we encourage your attendance. Board agendas are posted on our website prior to each meeting. To be listed on the agenda, please notify the Executive Director at least one week prior to the meeting: Rita Fletcher at (630) 540-4835.
