MAHC Member Housing Narrative & Message Discussion - 7/13, 10 am, Zoom
MAHC is pleased to host a highly interactive discussion with the national Housing Narrative Lab on a shared Maine housing message that supports meeting the need for affordable housing throughout the State. MAHC Members Vote In New Board Members as Two Long Term Board Members Retire
At the June 8, MAHC Member Meeting in Portland, MAHC membership voted in 3 new board members: Jeff Levine (Levine Planning Strategies), Sherrin Vail (Evernorth), and Nate Howes (Avesta). MAHC thanked retiring board members Liza Fleming-Ives (Genesis Fund), Bill Shanahan (Evernorth), and Lisa Magnacca (Drummond Woodsum). MAHC is deeply grateful for their service. Members also approved the slate of officers: Amy Cullen (Chair; Szanton Company); Jason Bird (Vice Chair; Penquis); Dave Beseda (Treasurer; Consultant); Janice de Lima (Secretary; Norway Savings). Over the next few months in my new role as MAHC Director I look forward to meeting many of you in person or via Zoom. I want to understand your business challenges and how MAHC can support Maine in meeting it's need for 1,000 new units of quality, affordable housing a year.
