Opportunities
Join us 15 June for an active workshop on feminism. The workshop will look at teaching techniques for educating students in the spirit of gender equality, respect for human rights and tolerance, and make space for women in the stories told for the future.

Join our four-day youth workshop and seminar in the The Hague this July. The seminar, targeting youth of 16+ years of age, explores the developments in international law with regard to genocide and crimes against humanity in a historic and contemporary light. It includes not only an in depth study of The Nuremberg Trials and the war in Bosnia but also introduces the new field of environmental crimes against humanity. This unique workshop culminates with a visit to the International Criminal Court and attendance at an ongoing criminal trial. We have recently revamped our traineeship programme. Now called the EuroClio Young Professional Programme, we offer recent graduates the opportunity to join EuroClio's Secretariat in The Hague for a period of nine months gaining valuable  experience in all fields of our work. In partnership with Centrum Cyfrowe and Europeana, we invite you to take part in a study about the use of educational digital resources (e.g. lesson plans, learning scenarios, tutorials), interactive materials  (e.g. games, quizzes, virtual tours) and online, digitised collections (image, video, sound) developed by cultural heritage institutions such as galleries, libraries, archives and museums. The survey will not take more than 10 minutes to complete.

Aiming to preserve and promote democracy, the Council of Europe has launched the Observatory on History Teaching in Europe (OHTE) with the goal to provide a a clear picture of the state of history teaching in Europe. EuroClio is currently coordinating the expert group for the research for the first Regular Report on the State of History Teaching in Europe scheduled for December 2023.
