2022 Adult Summer Reading Program
Nothing brings people together like good food and good books! Our summer reading program will be a celebration of both. Register in-person at the Adult Reference Desk starting Sunday, June 12.
Are you homebound and unable to come to the Library? Let us bring the Library to you! The library provides free delivery of Library materials to Elk Grove Village residents and registered cardholders who are physically unable to come to the Library due to disability or illness. Please call Chris at 847-725-2160 to request homebound delivery.

The Soundstage at EGVPL presents solo acoustic musical entertainment, Dave’s Bazaar. Come and relax as Dave plays everything from rock, pop, folk, and country.

Take a deep dive into all that Elk Grove Village Public Library has to offer. Discover oceans of possibilities this summer when you participate in our summer reading program. Make sure to stop by Youth Services on Tuesdays during our summer reading program and see some live aquarium and ocean views.
Celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Program by visiting our Underwater Wonders Exhibit. Get a picture at our photo op area and visit all sorts of aquatic life when you take a trip "under the sea".
Drop by the library to make a simple craft on your own or with the help of a parent/caregiver. The craft will be available in Youth Services, while supplies last.
Get up and get moving during this interactive program with kindie rock musician, Sarah Jayne Lane. Tickets required.
Friday Afternoon Movies "Moana"

Bring a beach towel, grab a snack, find a spot and relax with an ocean-themed movie this summer. Coloring and crafts will be available before and after the movie in the Youth Services department.
Celebrate the summer with bubbles! Youth Services will be outside having fun filling the air with bubbles. Stop by to dance, make bubbles and celebrate summer.
Join us this summer to complete riddles, scavenger hunts, and challenges. Each week completed will earn you a ticket to be
entered in our grand prize raffle.
Want to do a bit of creative coloring? Stop by the Youth Services Reference Desk, pick up your supplies, and create some Sharpie magic.
Jr. Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Calling students in grades 6, 7, and 8! Join the year-round Junior Teen Advisory Group (Jr. TAG). Earn service hours and meet new students. Registration required.
Do you think you know your Goldfish flavors? Have fun participating in a Goldfish cracker blind taste test contest and see how well your taste buds can do.
