Dear friends and partners,
 
I hope you will join me in congratulating not just the graduating class of 2022, but all of the students, teachers, staff, families, and community partners who made this year possible. Despite immeasurable challenges, we successfully navigated a full year of safe, in-person learning in LA Unified. 

The celebrations of the past week highlighted the resilience of our school communities as we keep adapting and moving forward. This year's path to recovery has not been easy—but the hurdles our students overcame along the way made their journey across the stage even more momentous. No matter where that journey leads next, I have no doubt that the world’s current challenges are no match for our next generation of leaders.
