As Lane students get set for the summer, some are going to continue to learn in other countries. Through the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), 24 Lane students will be heading abroad this summer to a variety of countries for learning opportunities. Reporter Mallory Atack has more on CIEE’s benefits for Lane students.

For Lane’s senior class, the high school experience included some unusual roadblocks: work stoppages, remote learning, masks and more. For Valedictorian Gustavo del Castillo and Salutatorian Zaryaab Khan, they had to navigate all those hurdles, while excelling both academically and extracurricularly. Sports Editor Megan Camacho talked with del Castillo and Khan about their journeys to the top of the senior class.

After finishing college applications, the application journey usually isn’t over for high school seniors, as next up comes scholarships. From scholarships offered by schools to nation-wide ones, seniors attempt to get as much money off of tuition as possible. Reporter Yaniya Gilford spoke with two graduating seniors about their Posse scholarship processes.
