Free Shelf Life Webinar on June 28 Inaugurates New Round of Workshops and Webinars Focused on Manufacturing 

After completing a vigorous schedule of Spring trade shows and events, the TechHelp team reloaded its calendar with a full slate of workshops and webinars designed to meet the needs of manufacturers. Catherine Cantley of TechHelp and the University of Idaho leads off with a free one-hour webinar on Shelf Life at 2 pm MDT on Tuesday, June 28. 
Our list of events includes a shout-out to the "Manly Man Father's Day Event" at the Western Collective in Garden City. The event will feature a unique axe made in the shape of Idaho created by Maria Lopez of Iron Pine. Maria worked closely with the TechHelp New Product Development Team to design, prototype, and produce the Idaho Axe.

Course Description

The shelf life of a product begins from the time the food is prepared or manufactured.  Its length is dependent on many factors, including the types of ingredients, manufacturing process, type of packaging, and how the food is stored. 
Want to learn more about what determines food shelf life and how it can be extended? Food Manufacturing Specialist Catherine Cantley of TechHelp and the University of Idaho will host a free one-hour webinar on Shelf Life beginning at 2pm MDT on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. 
During this free one-hour Webinar, Catherine will explore Shelf Life and Shelf Life Extensions of food products.

Instructor

Catherine Cantley is a  Food Processing Specialist with TechHelp and an Assistant Professor at the University of Idaho School of Food Science. She is an experienced Senior Research and Development Manager with demonstrated expertise in food manufacturing, process engineering, product optimization, food safety, and sensory and consumer science. In this day and age, data are everywhere. Catherine loves to leverage the power of those data to increase profit margins, product quality, and process efficiencies.
