This week's newsletter starts with a plea.
Unfortunately we have been experiencing an increase in abusive and aggressive communications from a small number of parents, whether this be by phone, email or face to face.
Some points that should go without saying and are clearly understood by most of our parents:
- We are all working to the same goal, getting the best education possible for your child
- Sometimes we have to deliver difficult messages about your children that are not easy to hear
- Children succeed at school when both parents and school are mutually supportive of each other
- Sometimes we will get things wrong and when we do we will work hard to rectify this and improve in the future.
None of us know what others are going through. We will all have difficult, challenging and sometimes upsetting things happen at home or at work. Treating people with kindness, consideration and care makes the world of difference.
