The Alabama Baseball Coaches Association (ALABCA) will hold it’s 23rd Annual High School All-Star Event (ASE)

Monday June 13 - Wednesday June 15 at Troy University.

 
The ASE begins Monday June 13 when 120 2023 - 2024 high school players from around Alabama and their parents will be welcomed at a general assembly at the Trojan Center on the campus of Troy University. They’ll hear talks from college baseball coaches from the levels of Divison I, II, III, NAIA  and Community College about their levels of athletics and academics. The Troy University Compliance Officer will also discuss the NCAA Eligibility Center.

An enrichment talk will also be given by Justin Castanza, current Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School President, and past Montgomery Area
YMCA Man of Year.


On Tuesday Juue 14 players will take on-field batting practice and a round of outfield - infield in front of 2-year and 4-year college coaches from Alabama and neighboring states. The six teams of twenty players will also play three games over the two days.

The team workouts and games will be livestreamed for free on jockjive.com beginning Tuesday, June 14 at 9:00 a.m. CST. All the event information, including team rosters may be found by clicking the link below.
