14 June 2022

Dear friend of IPBES,

All IPBES stakeholders, and their respective networks, are invited to attend the Stakeholder Day prior to the ninth session of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (#IPBES9), on Saturday, 2 July 2022, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., (CEST) at World Conference Center, Bonn, Germany.
You can view the latest agenda of the #IPBES9 Stakeholder Day here:

Stakeholder Registration Protocol
Registration to attend Stakeholder Day is separate from the accreditation and registration process for the IPBES Plenary session. Successful registration for Stakeholder Day does not grant access to the Plenary session. Registration is required only to attend the Stakeholder Day in person
To register (including for delegates and observers attending the Plenary session who also wish to join Stakeholder Day) please click on this link: https://ipbes.net/ipbes-9/registration-stakeholder-day. Once registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration.
The final deadline for registration for in-person Stakeholder Day attendance is 15 June 2022 (tomorrow). Please note that refreshments and a light lunch will only be available to those persons who register in advance of this final deadline.
Please aim to arrive early on the day – registration counters open at 8a.m. and the first presentations will start at 9:00 to allow completion of the full program for the day. Please be ready to present your passport or national photo ID card at the registration desk to get your access badge.

Should you plan to attend the event virtually, via the live webcast, you don’t need to registered. You will be able to follow the event (with interpretation into French and Spanish) by following this link: https://ipbes-net.zoom.us/j/98166416250
Please note that the online webcast will be broadcast only – in other words there will be no facility to pose questions or make contributions remotely via the webinar. Should you have an urgent question during the webcast, you can send this via email to stakeholders.ipbes@ipbes.net during the session, and we will do our best to pose these to the session speakers at the event.

For any further information, please contact stakeholders.ipbes@ipbes.net

We hope to see you at (or connect virtually with you from) #IPBES9 Stakeholder Day!
