Tonight kicks off the first round of Midtown Cool Down in the Midtown district. Participating restaurants and bars are serving over-the-top, tropical, or fruit-forward Cool Down drinks tonight from 4pm to close. Grab your midweek crew and enjoy a refreshing drink from your regular spot or venture to a new place you have been meaning to try. JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION
JUNE 16 | OKLAHOMA HISTORY CENTER

The Oklahoma Historical Society will celebrate Juneteenth with “Music Through the Ages” this Thursday, June 16 from 6-8pm at the Oklahoma History Center in Oklahoma City. 
Dr. Donnie Nero will serve as the emcee for several educational presentations and musical performances representing Oklahoma’s unique African American roots. This event is free and open to the public. Find more information by visiting okhistory.org/juneteenth2022.
DANCING IN THE GARDENS
JUNE 17 | MYRIAD GARDENS

Grab a friend and get ready to dance the night away on the Seasonal Plaza at the Myriad Gardens during Dancing in the Gardens featuring 90s Hip Hop this Friday, June 17th from 7-10pm.
Dance instructors from RACE Dance Company will give a dance demo followed by a free session for all. Afterward, the live DJ will crank up the great 90s hip-hop tunes and open up the dance floor. BRICKTOWN BLUES & BBQ FESTIVAL

Join the Bricktown Blues & BBQ Festival this Friday and Saturday from 5pm-12am outdoors on Bricktown Canal at Oklahoma Ave. The event will host live blues music, amazing BBQ, hickory-smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, jumbo turkey legs, and more! Admission to the event is free and open to all ages. 
PRIDE ON 9TH STREET

The businesses located on 9th Street in Automobile Alley invite you to join them for Pride on 9th this Saturday, June 18 from 11am-8pm. Both queer-owned businesses and allies alike are excited to spread the love with special promotions and collaborations. 
Shop pride collections from local stores, grab themed cocktails and desserts, pose in front of a colorful photo op, and discover new spots on 9th Street. Then, from 4-7pm shop art created by local LGBTQIA2S+ artists at Factory Obscura's outdoor Pride Month Artist Market at Mix-Tape. OKLAHOMA BREWERS FEST
JUNE 18 | CHICKASAW BRICKTOWN BALLPARK

Join the 2nd Annual Oklahoma Brewer’s Fest at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Saturday, June 18. This is Oklahoma’s only brewer-led festival featuring 50 craft breweries from across the state.
Attendees can enjoy nearly 500 beers including special release beers. This year’s festival will feature unforgettable experiences such as a 360 photo booth, live DJs, on-site festival t-shirt screen printing, and vendors from across the state. Chihuly is back at the OKCMOA and better than ever! Join the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for the opening weekend of Chihuly Then and Now: The Collection at Twenty Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Chihuly collection at the Museum, Chihuly Then and Now: The Collection at Twenty features five decades of glass and painting, and tells a comprehensive story of Chihuly’s groundbreaking career. Redesigned in collaboration with Chihuly Studio, the exhibition displays new works never before seen in OKC. Also happening this weekend is the opening of the Museum Store X Ganache Patisserie this Friday, June 17.
