ArtWalk 2022
Happy Fathers Day weekend!
 Check out what's in store this week. The 45th Annual ArtWalk Opening Reception is on Friday, June 17 with over 20 locations downtown with art exhibits to check out. Then on Saturday, June 18 the CHAFE-150 begins at City Beach, so keep your eyes out for cyclists as they will be all over the place riding for a cause. Or, if you'd like, you can also check out Forest Owners Field Day at the Pine Street Woods. Finally, it's Community Day at Schwetizer on Sunday, June 19 with tons of fun planned. Don't forget, there is Live Music all around town throughout the week!

• The heavens: Last quarter moon, Mon. Tonight, a full super moon is on the calendar, dubbed the Strawberry Moon despite its yellowish hue.
• Rising and setting: Sunrise 4:42 a.m., Sunset 8:50 p.m.; 7 minutes of daylight gained this week.
 Air quality: Good thru Sat. 
 Lake level: Spring refill is under way; Lake Pend Oreille is currently 2,061.2 feet above sea level, forecast to rise to 2,062.53 feet by next Tues.
 Streamflows: Rains spur runoff; Moyie River currently 5,900 CFS, up from 3,890 CFS last Tues. Priest River currently 8,240 CFS, up from 6,770 CFS last Tues.
• Sandpoint forecast: The rains continue today, but by Wed mostly sunny skies are expected. We should then have at least partially sunny skies thru Mon. The evenings carry a small chance of rain Fri evening thru Mon. High for the week is Fri at 80, and low is this evening at 44.

CHAFE-150Are you ready to ride? The CHAFE bike ride is this Sat, June 18, and it's a big fundraiser for the Rotary Club to support reading initiatives in our schools.
