You live in your body every day...
are you taking care of it?

Physical and mental health

Did you know that physical health and mental health are closely related? The way that we treat our body will impact how we are feeling, thinking, and will help to shape our mental and emotional wellness.

As we enter the summertime, this is a great time to be intentional about how you are caring for your body. Even a 5-minute daily exercise will get your blood flowing and provide benefits.

The resources below will help you get up and moving, and help you better see the connection between your physical and mental health.

Scripture & Prayer Prompts

Our Creator God, I thank you for the body you have given me. You are the One who sustains me, fills me, leads me, and uses me for your glory. Please heal any discomforts in my body today. Give me the motivation for healthy eating, exercising, and living. May I care for my body as a temple of your Spirit, and I pray that you will use all of my life for your glory. Amen.
