Our Life in Color: Summer Brunch & Fashion Show is only a couple short months away. It's time to secure your spot!

This year's fashion show will take place on the lawn at the Seattle Yacht Club on Sunday, August 21st at 11 AM. Take in gorgeous views of Portage Bay as you sip delicious mimosas and enjoy all the terrific entertainment we have in store.

Featuring live music from Redshift Dance Party, a keynote speech from Michelle Millman of KIRO 7, an exciting live auction, and of course, vibrant summer fashion modeled by our incredible group of cancer survivors. Join us for this unique opportunity to celebrate the strength, resilience, and beauty of the cancer survivors that we have the privilege to support.

Meet One Of Our Fashion Show Models:
Audrey Rodriguez!
The date is both etched in my mind and blurry – February 9, 2021. This is the day I heard the news “You have breast cancer”. If I understand the statistics correctly, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives. While I was hoping not to have a turn, there it was. I found the lump early through self-exam. The cancer was Stage One. Once I processed the information, it was time to get to work and welcome an award-winning team around me. My doctors (Lee, Miranda, Spiegel, and Wahl) are simply the best, as recognized in 425 Magazine. The course of action was thorough and, according to Dr. Wahl, I am cancer-free. I, however, will not use the words, “cancer free” until October 2026.

Since my last procedure (and the lifting of some Covid restrictions), my husband and I have resumed travel and the living of life. While I never lived my life in fear of the illness, I knew – early on – life was a gift. A gift – with a bright pink bow – I am still unwrapping.
