Campaign to mitigate a worsening situation
in Sri Lanka
AHEAD: A Hard Year’s Fight

Sri Lanka continues to slip into deeper economic, social and health crises. The Prime Minister has asked Sri Lankans to brace themselves for a Dickensian scenario in the coming months. Isolated districts like Mannar in the North are facing yet more physical, mental and financial challenges, faring much worse.

Bridging Lanka’s AHEAD: A Hard Year’s Fight campaign is multi-pronged and includes emergency, medium and longer-term sustainable responses to enable thousands of families to survive, stave off hunger and consume a nutritious diet to maintain their health, thus preventing malnourishment and sickness. Go to: https://www.chuffed.org/project/a-hard-years-fight

1. Supply dry food rations for the most vulnerable families
2. Provide knowhow, materials and plants for organic vegetable gardens
3. Offer an ongoing subsidised nutritious lunch service
4. Run a 'food security' training facility

Also, get a return on your generosity at this tax time. All donations to Bridging Lanka are tax deductible - https://www.chuffed.org/project/a-hard-years-fight
