Ukrainian Quartet DakhaBrakha at Garver Atrium

The time is nearly here to welcome Ukrainian Quartet, DakhaBrakha, to the Garver Atrium. The performance will take place on July 17th at 7:30 PM and tickets range from $30-$100. This concert will have opportunities to give donations to the quartet's charity of choice built in tiered ticket pricing.
DakhaBrakha, is a world-music quartet originating from Ukraine. The quartet is fiercely committed to keeping Ukrainian music storytelling culture alive by making it more accessible. To learn more info about the concert, or to purchase tickets for this event, please visit the Garver Events.
Tickets are available at three levels:
Base Level $30
Supporter Level $50 (Includes donation to NGO chosen by DakhaBrakha)
Sponsor Level $100 (includes donation plus a meet and greet with the band and light refreshments after the show)

Garver Celebrates Canada Day

Mark your calendars!! July 1st is the celebration of Canada Day at Garver Feed Mill. For those of you who are not familiar with the holiday, it is a national day of Canada that honors the anniversary of the Constitution Act 1867 which consolidated three territories into a single nation, known as Canada.
So why is Garver celebrating Canada Day? Founder & CEO of Ledger Coffee Roasters, Richard Wirsta, is Canadian born and raised. To celebrate his Canadian pride and heritage, Ledger's and other Garver tenants have put together Canada Day specials. Participating tenants include Ian's Pizza, Ledger Coffee Roasters and Garver Lounge.
Here's what you can expect to enjoy during Canada Day:

Kosa Spa Inner Light Sanctuary Grant
|
|
|
Cancer is one of the world's more troubling diseases known to modern science, simply because it is difficult to treat. At Kosa every single week, there is at least someone who walks through the doors who's life has been effected by cancer in some shape or form.
From the beginning of Kosa, it has been a long awaited dream to create a profit at the spa and use the funds towards an offering for cancer patients. With the help of the community, Kosa is delighted to announce the launch of their profit, Light Sanctuary Grant. The grant will be offered to those living with cancer that will gift them time at the spa. The grants are valid for three, 2-hr sessions to retreat in our healing Sanctuary and meditation space, enjoy nourishing beverages, and use our hot stone sauna and hydrotherapy steam room.
How can you do your part?
- Apply for Grants: We are offering free and sliding scale access to Kosa's Inner Light Sanctuary.
- Spread the Word: Spread the love! Share this email with your community!
- Make a Donation: We are asking that you - our community - offer your love and support in the form of a donation.
More information about donating
- The goal is to raise $5,000 by June 31st, which will support 20 grantees.
- EACH $250 GRANT SUPPORTS ONE PERSON WITH THE INNER LIGHT OFFERING (3 retreats).
- Donations Start at $25 and can be made in any increments.
There are three ways to donate to the fund:
1) Online donation
2) In-person donation at the spa, including adding it to your bill at check out
3) Purchase a beautiful wishbone necklace hand made in San Francisco by Julie Cristello. All profits go to the Inner Light Sanctuary fund.
