Dear Colleagues,

Due to the overwhelming and positive response, the Florida Council

for Exceptional Children is excited to announce that the call for

proposals for the 74th annual FCEC Conference has been extended

to June 29!

We invite university and college faculty, district professional

development teams, and school leaders to submit proposals aligned

with this year’s theme: Riding the Waves of Change: Reimagining

Special Education in Changing Times. Please review the Call for

Proposals by visiting the FCEC website before you begin the easy

online submission process.

This year’s FCEC conference will be held at the Hilton Daytona Beach

and Resort, in sunny Daytona, Florida, on October 20-22, 2022.

Hotel accommodations are available at the Hilton Daytona Beach

and Resort. Conference registration, as well as sponsor and exhibitor

information are now available on our website.

More information about Student Kaleidoscope and Teacher Slams

will be shared soon, and are due this September – so, please stay tuned.
