June 18 is World Refugee Sabbath and June 20 is World Refugee Day. Right now, there are nearly 100 million refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

ADRA has worked with refugees for decades on at least four continents. Among many other locations, ADRA is working with refugees and IDPs of the Ukraine crisis. Since day one of the conflict, ADRA has been on the ground responding to the ever-changing needs with shelter, food, safe transportation, water, protection, cash, trauma counselling, supply distributions, and now evacuations.

We cannot look away from the global refugee crisis. Refugees are not statistics — but mothers, fathers, and children whose lives have been turned upside down by persecution, conflict, violence, or human rights violations.
