One More ZOOM meeting?  No thanks! The Virtual MC Canada Gathering 2022, July 29-August 1,  promises to NOT be one more ZOOM meeting. Plans are in place to make the virtual gathering an experience, an experience as close to being in Edmonton without leaving your home. A professional audio-video team will bring you live worship, the plenary speakers, online workshops and even interviews recorded just for virtual participants. June 22 11:30 – 3:30 pm New Interpretive Site at Stoney Knoll! You are invited to the ribbon cutting & celebration of the unveiling of a display of storyboards in a beautiful gathering site, which describes the on-going reconciliation efforts between local settlers and the Stoney Knoll Nation / Young Chippewayan band. RJC Red Carpet Open House | June 23 - Prospective students and youth are invited to attend a fun-filled event at the premier performance of "Anastasia: The Musical". MC Sask youth are invited to games at 4:30pm on the RJC campus, followed by supper in the RJC dining hall at 5:30pm, campus tour at 6:00pm, and the musical performance at 7:00pm. Youth can register with their youth sponsors/pastors or contact Alex Tiessen at admissions@rjc.sk.ca.   **

RJC Alumni & Friends BBQ | June 25 - Alumni and friends are invited for a BBQ supper in the RJC dining hall prior to the RJC musical on June 25 at 5:30pm. $10 per person for the meal. RSVP to office@rjc.sk.ca or call (306) 232-4222.  **
 
RJC Graduation Exercises | June 26 - Baccalaureate service at Rosthern Mennonite Church at 10:30am followed by the Graduation Ceremony at the RJC Auditorium at 2:30pm. All are welcome to attend in-person. A live-stream option will be made available.  **

Family Fun Day Fundraiser at Shekinah Retreat Centre. June 12, 2-5PM. Check out our zipline and climbing wall, in addition to playing games and doing some camp crafts. Finish off the day with a wiener roast and ice cream. Admission is by donation to help fund our summer camp program.  **


Shekinah is looking for summer camp counsellors! If you love kids and the outdoors, we would love to talk to you. We are offering 8 weeks of paid work in July and August. The work is hard, frustrating, and exhausting, but it is also fun, uplifting, exciting and rewarding. Please contact Reno if interested: reno@shekinah.ca**

Amplify! Youth Gathering 2022 registration is full! 
We are so excited that our registration is full for Youth Gathering 2022 from July 31 to Aug. 4 at Camp Valaqua in Alberta! Thanks to all of our youth leaders across the country for working hard to make this event a reality and to event coordinator Joani Neufeldt. Please pray for remaining preparations to go smoothly and for safe travel for all the campers. **

Mennonite Church Canada is donating $50,000 to help Mennonite World Conference meet its expenses for MWC Assembly in Indonesia this summer, and is calling on its member congregations to help match the donation. Under MWC’s Fair Share model, Assembly participants from lower-income countries pay lower registration costs. MC Canada’s donation will help MWC continue to provide these subsidies. A Time to Strengthen & Renew- Couples Canoe Trip July 8-11, 2022 Head out for your next adventure and explore with us! Couples therapy on the water as you spend time in nature. Aha! Adventure guides with the Youth Farm Bible Camp, will teach you what you need to know to paddle as a team and navigate the river in this unique couple’s adventure. Dwight & Wendy Eisler with Sparrow’s Life Counselling will facilitate relationship building discussions & activities. Nature will slow us down, help us grow closer to ourselves and each other as we share, listen and experience. Supporting Kalunga church through Mennonite Men building fund 

The Igreja Evangélica dos Irmãos Menonitas in Kalunga, Angola, has met in a hangar since 2015. There are now 185 members and they have worked together to make bricks and construct the walls of a new worship space (the men build, the women carry water and cook food). Mennonite Men’s JoinHands Church Building fund, which is supported by Mennonite Church Canada and Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission (AIMM), has granted US$10,000 towards the building’s new roof.   **
