Longfellow Neighborhood Yard Sale is Back!

THIS SATURDAY, June 18
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The neighborhood-wide yard sale is back—with a twist! This year, we’re incorporating encouragement for free items in addition to the traditional yard sale.

Looking for homebrewing equipment, sporting goods, or to add to your vinyl collection? These are just some of the items your neighbors have to sell or give away on Saturday.

Head over to the LCA website to download the map of sale locations and view listings of where you can find certain specialty items.

We look forward to seeing you out and about on Saturday. Happy hunting!

National Night Out

It's Time to Organize Your Block Party!

NNO 2022 Logo
Sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, National Night Out (NNO) is America's night out and a time for neighbors to get together to build neighborhood spirit and unity. Research shows that when neighbors know each other, neighborhoods are safer.

This year's NNO is Tuesday, August 2, from 6-8 p.m. If you organize a block party or other outdoor event that brings neighbors together and register with the City by July 22, you'll receive giveaways for the kids, and a special gift for the host.

If you do organize an event on your block, please also let LCA know so we can share the details in our next newsletter!

For more details, visit the City's NNO page.
