Remembering and Being Remembered
Mark your calendars for 5:30-7:30 pm, Thursday, June 23, in Brown Hall at the Church of Reconciliation, 8900 Starcrest, for our Pull Up a Chair Quarterly Dinner!
Everyone is invited to come and celebrate our ABODE Community – and deepen our knowledge around death and dying.
We'll have a delicious meal prepared by celebrity chef Frankie Boone, festive wines from Scout & Cellar – and...
...an unforgettable evening of Remembering and Being Remembered – A WILLOW™ workshop – facilitated by Licensed Willow EOL Educator™ Susan Ruch, ABODE Volunteer Coordinator!
In this workshop we will:
● Dig into the heart of why we remember those who have died.
● Explore what it is about being remembered that matters to us.
● Consider the impact our deceased have had on us and that we may have on others when we die.
● Be called to action to honor the memory of our deceased in ways that work for us.
Please RSVP by end of day Tuesday, June 21, help us with our catering numbers.
This event is free – it's our gift to you for all you do for ABODE and our Guests. You are welcome to bring friends. We hope you'll join us!
