Please join us this Sunday in person at 9:30 or 11 am, or online at 11:00 am as we celebrate our fathers and those who fill that role in our lives. There will be Nursery, Preschool, and Kids Ministry groups at both services. Those joining us in person have the option of socially distanced seating. You are welcome to wear a mask, but it is not required, and you do not need to register.
Support Grace Brown at Camp Tulakadik This summer one of our youth, Grace Brown, will be working at Camp Tulakadik, our Baptist camp. Summer camp gives students a great opportunity to grow as young leaders and be a part of a ministry that touches the lives of hundreds of children and youth. Summer students at Camp T agree to raise part of their summer salary through the “Raise a Wage” program. Grace will be sharing her story with us this Sunday at both services. If you would like to donate to support Grace in her ministry this summer, you can do so by clicking here. Summer Sunday Services Next Sunday, June 26th we will move to one service at 10:00 am (in person and online), up to and including September 4th. This summer’s sermon series will be based on Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount” in Matthew chapters 5 to 7.
Baptism We will be having a baptism next Sunday June 26th. Please join us for the celebration!
Ladies Dessert Potluck We hope you can join us for a Ladies Dessert Potluck next Thursday, June 23rd from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Rivercross Church. This informal evening will be an opportunity to visit and re-connect with friends, and to meet some new ones. Please bring sweets or a fruit tray, as large or small as you like; your favourite recipe/from your favourite bakery. Small portions will allow everyone to sample more things! If you have a dietary restriction, please bring something you can enjoy. Coffee, tea, and punch will be provided. We would like you to register at the Welcome Centre or online here so we know how many to set up for, but if that is not possible, come anyway. Red Cross Babysitting Course On July 5th we will be hosting a Red Cross Babysitting Course from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at RiverCross Church! This course is open to anyone who is 11 years old or older and will be offered at a reduced fee of $40 per person. Please register here on or before June 20th so that we can register an accurate number!
Family Worship Service We will be holding a family worship service specifically designed for your whole family on the Tuesday evening following the July and August long weekends. We hope you will join us on July 5th and August 2nd here at RiverCross Church at 6:00pm! No need to register, just come as you are!

Celebration Sunday Thank You! A big Thank You to all of our wonderful volunteers who made Community Outreach Celebration Sunday so special, from the worship services on Forbes Drive to the Community BBQ at RiverCross Mission. We were able to feed between 400 and 500 people, and provide fun games for the kids, face painting and music. We are so glad you were able to join us.
CBM ACTIVEinMI22ION Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) is running its Active in Mission campaign next week (June 19-26) to raise money to help children gain access to education in the 9 countries where CBM serves. Check out the Active in Mission website to participate and/or donate.
