We're excited to begin the
Norway Farmers' Market for 2022!

Last year we welcomed as many as 230 visitors to some of the markets, nearly 40 people participated in the Maine Harvest Bucks program to get double the value of their SNAP/EBT, and our wonderful vendors collected almost $200 in Harvest Bucks vouchers. The Power of Produce Club had dozens of kids participate, and this year they will continue to get $5 in Bumper Crop vouchers to spend at each farmers' market throughout the season! Isuken Food Truck might not make it for the first market, but they do plan to join us soon in their new truck. Finally, thanks to committed staff and volunteers we will be offering by-donation pizzas in the wood fired oven (way to go, pizza makers!). We are endlessly grateful to you for showing up, supporting local farmers and artisans, and building community with us on these beautiful summer evenings.

PLEASE PARK BEHIND FARE SHARE FOOD COOP & THE NORWAY GRANGE AND WALK TO THE GARDEN. WE DO HAVE HANDICAP PARKING SPACES- PLEASE LET THE PARKING ATTENDANT KNOW AND YOU CAN DRIVE RIGHT IN TO THE GARDEN.

We gladly accept cash, credit card, checks, SNAP/EBT (food stamps), and we offer Maine Harvest Bucks, too! Our main vegetable vendor, Liberation Farms, welcomes WIC Farmers' Market Checks!

Garden to Table

Walls are up! Construction of the new community kitchen is well underway. We now have parking for about 15 vehicles, so please feel free to drive in anytime when we are not hosting a large event. Parking on the street is not permitted by the town. Among our main financial supporters are Norway Savings Bank, Hancock Charitable Trust, Quimby Family Foundation, Hannaford Charitable Foundation, Sewall Foundation, Anthony Fratianne, and anonymous donors- we have raised $130K toward our $175K goal to complete the kitchen, deck, and two ADA accessible bathrooms. Please reach out if you are interested in supporting this community project with a donation, professional skills, or volunteer labor. You can also make a donation directly through
our website.

Storytime
Thursdays 10am-11am

Join us on Thursdays for Storytime at the Garden! We have a few blankets and you are also invited to bring your own. Every Thursday during the summer.

Alan Day Community Garden is teaming up with Foothills Foodworks to offer free meals throughout the summer, on the first, second and fourth Thursday of the month, from 1-3pm. Anybody is welcome to stop by ADCG at 26 Whitman Street and pick up a locally sourced, locally created, healthy meal! Meals come ready to go and heat up in a nice little box.
