Child Vaccination Town Hall - July 13th, 6pm. 

With the latest approvals, Pitkin County Public Health is hosting a town hall to answer public questions about child vaccinations. Not only does vaccination protect young children from illness, it also protects families, communities, and schools by decreasing the prevalence of COVID-19 as a whole. Save the date of July 13th, at 6pm, link will be released in the next few days and will be posted on our website. 
 

Vaccine Vs. Natural Immunity: How protected are you after you catch Covid-19?

Through the pandemic, there has been a common misconception that if you are infected with COVID-19 once, your immune system will build its own natural immunity to protect you from getting COVID-19 in the future. This has become the reason why many individuals choose not to get a COVID-19 booster shot, even if many months have passed since they were last ill with COVID-19 symptoms. Pitkin County Testing Update 

The downtown Aspen site transitioned to a pay-for-service on July 1st. Free community testing will continue at the Aspen Airport Cell Phone Lot on the week of July 11th. Free Binax At-Home Antigen Tests are available throughout Pitkin County and the Roaring Fork Valley through certain community centers and libraries listed below. These tests are available to pick up while supplies last. Tests to be delivered directly to your home is listed below. These are not proctored tests and should not be used for an event or travel testing.
