Why Are We Even Here?

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
^Ephesians^2:10
Believers are created in Christ Jesus for good works. Good works are not one of the spiritual gifts, but doing good works is how all Believers are made---without exception, and this is what we are expected to do with our lives. It is a part of our daily Christian walk.
“Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager [zealous] for good deeds.” ^{Titus 2:14}
We are a purified people who are to be eager [zealous] for good works. Good works are not a drudgery of denying self to benefit others. May it never be! We should jump in with both feet at a moment’s notice, with a smile on our face when the Lord opens they eyes of our heart to see and to fulfill a need to do good to others.

Pray For Our Missionaries

Pray for our many interns and apprentices, that they will learn well, as they are under our seasoned TBM missionaries. Pray that they will learn obedience, and that they will do the good works of Ephesians 2:10 so as to have spiritual fruit and thus glorify the Lord Jesus.
Pray that our seasoned TBM missionaries will be holy and pure and righteous. Pray for the Lord’s wisdom in their lives, and that many will get saved and be discipled during their ministry.
For all of our TBM missionaries, pray for their finances as their supporters experience this runaway inflation.

This is the time of life we are now in:

A granddaughter graduated from high school. A grandson and granddaughter-in-law graduated from Frontier School of the Bible and have a ministry in Sidney, NE. A grandson and a granddaughter are both new drivers. Another granddaughter is going to school to get her doctorate. There is more, but not enough space. We love them all!

God’s Will For Your Life

We have been serving the Lord in La Grange, Wyoming for 18 years now. Our cup runs over in all that the Lord has done for us, in us and through us. When the Lord gives you a ministry, and a place to do that ministry, He also gives you a love for what He has given to you! If you do not love the ministry you are doing, take a moment and ask the Lord if what you are doing is His will for your life. He custom designs the personality and gifting for the one He calls; He calls us to a PLACE for which He has also custom designed for us to minister.
I am reading a book about two missionaries serving the Eskimos in the 1950’s.

“There was no doubt about it. Kathryn and I were in love. A condition in my proposal to her was, was she willing to live in an igloo? An affirmative answer did not come right then; she would have to think about it. Six weeks later she said, “I would rather live with you in an igloo than with anyone else in a mansion.” ^{Eskimos, now the world; Gleason H. Ledyard; Christian Literature International; Box 777 Canby OR 97013; p. 44; 1977.}
“What was [God’s] calling? Did young people expect to get a personal telegram from Heaven before they were willing to go to the mission fields?” ^{Ibid p. 45}

God called us to La Grange to minister. He designed us for this purpose. He called. We obeyed. We are still obeying! If you are not where God wants you to be, get there. If you do not know what or where that is, ask...find out! He WANTS you to know. Above all, when He speaks, obey, obey, obey. You cannot regret obeying Him, because He has a design for you which fits only you.
