Active8 Fitness Comes to Mossman Pool

Tai Chi for health is now at the Mossman Pool every Thursday at 9am. Classes are $5.50 per session and must be pre-booked, online. No pool admission fee required.

The Daintree River Ferry will not operate from 10pm Friday 18 November 
2022
until 5am Tuesday 22 November 2022 to allow for important safety maintenance  work to be completed.

  • The tide gates have been installed and backfilled on Mowbray Street. Port Douglas - Image below.
  • Disability 'Tactiles' have been installed at the pedestrian crossing along Macrossan Street, Port Douglas.
  • The first part of an Oil Palm fertilising program has begun to assist maintaining the Avenue of Oil Palms at their optimum level.
  • Demolition of the old Mango Jam building, 24 Macrossan Street will begin Monday 25 July.
  • Ergon Energy connected the electrical supply to the new BBQ shelters at Newell Esplanade last week.
